PKR launched few days ago the 1.29 version of the software. Among other features the new version introduces a new game in the mini-games collection, Video poker, which is available to play only on real money. Besides Mini roulette, Blackjack and Casino Holdem now players can enjoy the new classic video poker game, Jacks or Better. From the same “Games” menu players can download and enjoy the 3D version of the TV show Deal or no Deal.

The new “cards-up” feature available in the new version is the answer of PKR to the critics regarding the difficulty of multi-table playing. Lots of important players complained that the game graphics make difficult to play at several tables at the same time. PKR tried to resolve this problem by introducing the  cards-up feature.

As you probably know, while playing, the cards are on the table faced down and to see you need to click on “show cards” button. The cards-up feature shows the cards constantly in a “under the table” TV style camera. Players see now the cards all the time, even on the secondary tables, so they don’t need to check them out every time is their turn to play. This feature is available only at tables that in the lobby have an eye shaped icon.

Although PKR created this feature especially for its players new critics appeared. Most of the comments made by players on this subject were negative. The general feeling is that with the new cards-up feature PKR loses much of its charm, attraction and most important the only thing that makes it unique. The need to look at the cards, like in real life, made PKR to look more realistic and gives other players clues about your cards and game. The cards-up feature seems to take it all away making PKR just a common poker platform with 3D graphics.

PayPal is now available for UK, Ireland and Denmark players for deposits and withdrawals. This is something very unusual in the gambling industry, as PayPal does not work with gambling operators. The only exception to this rule was Ladbrokes, who accepts PayPal for customers from some European countries. Considering the popularity of PayPal, this new addition will surely make many players happy.

The PKR’s popular Vegas room received a face-lift in the new version. Now, animated slots with flashing lights and more realistic plants complete the amazing backgrounds of the room.

Although the latest update is not fully apreciated by the players, PKR listens to the player’s needs and suggestions, trying to bring more improvements to respond their needs.
